Why is my text covered or cut off on Instagram? Causes & fixes

Likely causes
- On-screen text or a subject sits in the interface overlay area
Interface elements can cover part of the frame. Compare the original with the playback view to distinguish an overlay from a crop already baked into the export.
Fix it
- Preview the safe zone and reposition text
Use the approximate editing overlay on an image or video, then preview the current app and placement. These margins are not verified universal safe areas; devices, captions and interfaces vary.
