Does this add its own watermark?
No. The only mark on the output is the image you supply. Most free online watermark tools add their own branding unless you pay - this one has nothing to gain from it, because it costs us nothing to run.
What image format should the watermark be?
A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. JPEG and WebP work too, but a JPEG will carry a solid rectangle behind the logo.
Can I control how transparent it is?
Yes - opacity is adjustable from 10% to 100%, and size is set as a percentage of the video width so it scales correctly on any resolution.
