CapCut how-to

How to rotate a video in CapCut (90°, any angle, mirror)

Updated 7 steps2 min read

Short answer

On mobile, select the clip, tap Edit and tap Rotate: each tap turns it 90° clockwise. Mirror in the same menu flips it left to right. On CapCut desktop, select the clip and type an angle in Rotate under the Video (Basic) panel on the right, or drag the rotation handle in the preview. After a 90° turn, scale the clip up or change the canvas ratio so it fills the frame.
