Content calendar generator

Choose your platforms, 2 to 5 content pillars, a start date and the weekdays you post. You get a 4-week grid you can export to Google Sheets (CSV) or any calendar app (ICS).

How are the posts and pillars assigned?

The calendar covers 28 days from your start date, split into four 7-day weeks. In each week, a platform's posts are spread evenly across your preferred weekdays. If you ask for more posts than you have weekdays, the extra posts reuse days.

pillar for slot k on a platform = pillars[(k + platform position) mod number of pillars]

Slots are counted in date order for each platform. With 2 or more pillars, the same pillar never lands on two consecutive slots of one platform. Each platform starts one step further along the list, so platforms do not all post the same pillar on the same day.

What does the export contain?

Where does it not fit?

It plans the rhythm, not the ideas: you write the topics. There are no posting times and no engagement estimates, because those depend on your audience. For team approvals or scheduling, use a scheduler after you import the plan.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the calendar into Google Sheets?

Download the CSV, open Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, then Upload, and pick the file. The columns are date, weekday, platform, pillar, format, status and notes.

How do I add the calendar to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar?

Download the ICS file and use the import option of your calendar app. Each post is an all-day event, so you can drag it to a time once you know when you will publish.

Does it pick the best time to post?

No. Slot times stay blank on purpose. Best times depend on your own audience, so check your analytics and fill them in.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The calendar is built in your browser and the files are created on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
