✳ SAFE-ZONE PROBLEMS
Text or face is covered by the destination's UI - causes and fixes
Most short-form destinations reserve the bottom and side regions for player UI (captions, like/comment/share stack, profile badge). Reposition important content into the safe zone before exporting; the safe-zone data for every supported platform × device lives in the shared registry.
Check these first
- Open the playback view on the actual device and identify the UI regions.
- Confirm the safe-zone percentages for the destination + device combo.
- Plan placement in the editor before exporting, not after.
Likely causes
- Bottom UI reserved for captions and player controls
Captions + like/comment stack usually occupy the bottom third.
- Side UI reserved for like/comment/share buttons
Vertical short-form players reserve both side strips for UI.
Fix it
- Reposition text and faces into the safe zone
Use the safe-zone overlay to plan placement; re-export from the original.
